John has now a lot of free time in his hands because of the summer vacation coming up. He stumbles as what to do with all this time. He thinks, "George will be signing up for that sports camp, while Mom has work, what should i do?",As John wonders what he can do to keep himself  busy, he peaks outside through the window beside his bed overlooking the neighbors yard and there he saw their neighbor playing with their dog and they looked so happy. Then it struck him, he said to himself,

 

"I should get a dog!"

 

then he hurriedly went downstairs to his mom and asked,

 

"Mom can I have a dog?"

 

then his mother responded,

 

"What dog, you mean you want to have a dog? Why?"

 

John answered,

 

"I just thought since I can't get out of the house always and I don't have anything to do here maybe you can get me a dog? Pleeaaaseee."

 

His mother responded,

 

"Hmmm, I will think about it, but don't get your hopes up okay sweetie?"

 

John replied,

 

"Yeeyy, Thanks Mom!"

Days passed and Johns mom seemed to forget about John's request.
